Collisions with Trucks  can be very serious because of the larger size of the truck in comparison with passenger vehicles and motorcycles.  When there is an increased need for trucks there is potential for more truck related accidents. This is due to the use of inexperienced drivers to meet the demand, drivers being over worked, drivers speeding to meet deadlines and the poor maintenance of trucks. You have rights and options when you or someone you love has been injured or killed due to a truck driver’s negligence.

You have a right to seek medical attention if you have been injured.  You have a right to a rental vehicle or loss of use money if your vehicle is repairable.   You have a right to be paid fair market value for your vehicle if it is  a total loss.  You have a right to be reimbursed for expenses such as towing and storage fees.

You have a right to have your medical bills/expenses paid by the responsible third party.  If you are unable to work due to your injuries, there is a way to recover your lost wages.  You may be entitled to money for pain & suffering caused by your injuries.  There are other rights that you may be entitled to and other damages that you may recover.  Based on our experience, we are able to review your case and to tell you what options and rights are available to you.

Call us for assistance, but don’t delay.  The truck and the truck driver’s logs need to be inspected as soon as possible to determine if they are in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Plus, the steps that need to be taken to preserve and access evidence for your case, generally, require the filing of a lawsuit.

We understand that if you have been in an accident, you may not be able to come to our office because you are injured or because you were left without a vehicle. That is why we offer to go to your home, your place of employment, or the hospital for your free consultation.

We can go to your home or office for a consultation.

We advise you about your rights and options.

Our experience with personal injury cases allows us to tell you what to expect from your personal injury case and inform you on your options. After your initial consultation, we should be able to tell or give you: an approximate time for your accident report to be ready; whether you have a viable claim against a third-party; whether we should seek benefits under your own insurance policy; whether you will be entitled to a rental vehicle-for how long-and under what auto policy; how to handle any medical bills or other expenses that have already been incurred as a result of the accident. Our assessment of your case may not always be positive, but it will be honest and realistic. We find that our clients have a much better experience when they know what to expect from their case.

We work with a wide network of medical providers that are ready and willing to provide you with the medical treatment that you need. Do not delay from seeking medical attention because you do not have medical insurance or money to pay for unexpected medical treatment or because you do not know if the person that caused your injuries has insurance. The network of medical providers that works with us accepts letters of protection from the law firm, and we pay for medical expenses not covered by letters of protection, including medication. If you do not recover, you do not have to reimburse the law firm for any expenses paid by the law firm or worry about expenses incurred pursuant to a letter of protection from the law firm.

We get you medical attention.

We obtain the Crash Report or Incident Report.

Some reports are ready in 3-5 days. Others can take up to two weeks or longer in some cases. We understand that your daily obligations, including work, make it difficult to check the status of your report on a regular basis and to go to the law enforcement agency to obtain a copy of the report, particularly if you are undergoing medical treatment/therapy. Let us do the work for you. Not only will you save time, but also money. We will be glad to pay for the accident report and send you a copy by fax, mail or email.

We file and process your claims.

As soon as we secure your incident or accident report, we file your bodily injury and property damage claim. The bodily injury claim is for your own physical bodily injuries. The property damage claim is for your vehicle. We press to have an adjuster assigned to your claim and to have a recorded statement take (in our presence) as soon as possible if one will be needed to process your claims. If your vehicle is still in a wrecker, we press the insurance company to secure the vehicle to minimize storage fees and to have your vehicle inspected as soon as possible to expedite repairs or replacement of your vehicle. We also walk you through the rental process, if you choose. We do as much of the work as possible for you. We want you to focus on your medical treatment and getting back into a normal routine.

We keep you involved and informed.

We will call you to let you know when we have the accident report, when the claim is filed, to schedule your recorded statement (if applicable), to check the status of your vehicle inspection and to make sure that you received your property damage check (when applicable). Once your property damage has been resolved, we check in with you to make sure your medical treatment is working for you and to check your progress. Once you complete your treatment and we have all of your medical records, we call to let you know that your bodily injury demand has been prepared and sent to the applicable insurance company. We call you when we start to get offers and discuss the offers with you. We also invite you to call us any time that you have a question on your personal injury case or need the status of your case.
